Jean-Claude Flornoy is a master cardmaker in the tradition of fine artisans that goes back over at least 500 years. He is famous for his handmade restorations of historical decks from the 17th and 18th centuries. When producing a mass-market version of his restoration of the Jean Dodal Tarot from 1650, he asked me if I would design the packaging for the deck. When his latest book was to be published, I was delighted when he asked me again to work with him on designing the cover. Both below:
