Rob your images took my breath away, what a feast of color and beauty. Just what I needed as we emerge from the whiteness of winter. Wish I were there.
Beautiful, thank you so much! Can you tell me what rose variety is in the picture Chelsea028? To tell the truth, these new Austins haven´t impressed me very much and I´m also deciding if to buy Princess Alexandra of Kent or not…
So beautiful, thank you and thank you again:-D!I really hope to have an issue of all your beautiful roses pics:-).
And can you tell me the rose name of Chelsea24-30?
Wonderful photos! How I’d love to live over there myself and garden!

Hi Lucy,
I’m glad you enjoyed the images. I’m honestly not sure about the roses. I am pretty sure that 24 ad 25 are Scepter’d Isle.
I’m not at all sure on 26.
27 was most likely either Eglantyne or less likely, Gentle Hermione.
28 is most likely Queen of Sweden, or less likely, Generous Gardener.
29 is Young Lycidas (it’s one where I actually photographed the nameplate!)
and 30, I’m pretty sure, is Princess Alexandra of Kent.
best wishes,
robert
