An excellent example of Romanesque architecture, a mile south of Oxford. Originally built c. 1160.
Lovely walk around Oxford on a beautiful summer’s day.
On the 15th of June, I like to bring some roses from the garden to the memorial of a very brave young man named Edgar Wilson who died in 1889 saving two boys from drowning in the River Thames, just south of our home in Oxford. The entire sad story can be found here. Thank you, Edgar.
Scriptum, Turl Street. Without a doubt, one of the most unique and beautiful stores in Oxford.
