Artificial Intelligence

As soon as I saw the potential in A. I. images, I wanted to see what types of images I could create. I tried many programmes and settled on Midjourney as I think it offers the best balance of creativity and coherence in its images. To date, I’ve generated over 35,000 images with Midjourney. Here are some of my experiments.

  • A Christmas Carol

Dicken’s classic reimagined using Midjourney A.I.

  • A. I. Christmas

Sometimes, the cosiest winter home is in your imagination. 🙂

  • Krampus

Krampus is a mythical creature from Alpine folklore, often described as a horned, demonic figure with a long tongue and cloven hooves. There are many other versions of him in folklore across of much Europe and the tradition tends to tie into a frightening visitor who comes during winter and threatens naughty children. Krampus traditionally appears on the night of December 5th, known as Krampusnacht (“Krampus Night”). This is the evening before the Feast of St. Nicholas, which is celebrated on December 6th.

On Krampusnacht, Krampus roams the streets-often during festive parades-while St. Nicholas visits homes to reward good children. So, Krampus’s activities are specifically associated with the night of December 5th.

The character likely has roots in ancient pagan traditions and has become a striking symbol of the darker side of Christmas. Today, Krampus is celebrated with costumed parades and has gained popularity in holiday festivities and popular culture.
